You can move from Max to Pro, or cancel your paid plan, at any time from Billing. The change happens at the end of the period you have already paid for, so you keep everything in your current plan until then. This guide walks through both, and how to undo them.
1. Open Billing
In Yara, click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, open Settings, and choose Billing under Payments. The top card shows your plan, your billing cadence (Weekly, Monthly or Quarterly) and the date it renews.
2. Pick the plan you want
Click Adjust plan. Choose a cadence at the top (Weekly, Monthly or Quarterly), then click Switch to Pro on the Pro card. Your current plan is marked Current plan.
3. Review and confirm the order
You see a Confirm your order page. It tells you exactly what changes and when:
The first line reads, for example, "Changing from Max (Weekly) to Pro (Weekly). $0.00 due today. Changes take effect 26th October 2026."
Your current plan shows Cancelling on that date. This only means Max stops on that date. You are not losing your paid plan.
Pro shows the dates of its first billing period, starting on that same date.
Amount due today is $0.00. You are not charged for the switch until Pro starts.
Click Confirm. You come back to Yara.
4. Check Billing after the switch
Billing keeps showing your current plan until the switch date, with a line such as "Your plan ends on Oct 26, 2026. You keep access until then." You keep all of your current plan's features and credits until that date. Pro starts automatically on that date.
At the bottom of Billing, the plan row reads Switch to Pro scheduled, with a Keep Max button next to it.
5. Changed your mind? Keep Max
Any time before the switch date, open Billing and click Keep Max. This cancels the scheduled change. Billing goes back to "Your subscription will auto renew on" your renewal date, and you stay on your current plan.
6. Cancel your plan completely
If you want to stop paying and move to Free instead of Pro, open Billing, scroll to Cancel plan and click Cancel. A dialog confirms the date: "You keep Max until Oct 26, 2026. After that you move to Free: 100 monthly credits and the free feature set. Your data stays." Optionally pick a reason, then click Complete cancellation, or Cancel without answering.
Billing then shows "Your plan ends on" that date and Cancellation scheduled. Your resumes, portfolios, applications and chats all stay. To undo the cancellation, click Keep plan before that date.
